'Gotham' pilot online: FOX launches 21-minute video teaser

The all new DC comics TV series from FOX is coming in less than a month and the network is working hard on promoting it. FOX just released an online 21-minute teaser to give viewers an idea what "Gotham" will be like. The video is divided into four parts, Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4.

FOX Network took it upon themselves to tell their views what the upcoming Warner Bros./DC Comics TV series will be about. There's an underlying expectation that "Gotham" will be about Batman, which is why FOX Network wants to clear the air on this one.

"Gotham" will not be about the Cape Crusader. It will be about Gotham the city, its origins, how it came to be like it is today, the police, the citizens and the criminals. "Gotham" will explore all these aspects and it will be focused on the city we've all seen menaced by villains in the Batman movies.

To clear things up and at the same time, get fans of the DC Comics to get hyped with the "Gotham" pilot, FOX released a 21-minute video teaser to explain the plot of the TV show as well as the in-depth analysis of "Gotham's" characters.

The video will analyze Fish Mooney, the new crime boss in the city and also the boss of Jada Pinkett-Smith's character. Then there's The Penguin and of course, James Gordon, who will later be the Commissioner of Gotham.

Ben McKenzie, who plays Jim Gordon, hinted on the video that the Joker might appear and that his origins might be revealed. Also, the video explained how big a role Catwoman will play in the city with Bruce Wayne.

Bruno Heller is the creator of "Gotham." The cast includes Camren Bicondova as Catwoman and Robin Lord Taylor as the Penguin. As for the Joker, Two-Face and Riddler, the cast is still unknown.

Don't miss the pilot episode of "Gotham" on FOX on September 22 at 8 p.m.
