 Gigabyte

Gigabyte has already confirmed that the new GTX 1080 will be added to their Xtreme Gaming lineup. Since the new addition is the next-gen top-tier GPU, the tech maker also listed a Premium Pack available for hardcore fans.

The new bundle is already listed on the company's website. On the specs page, the Premium Pack includes the new GTX 1080-based Xtreme Gaming GPU, with a 100mm fan cooling system, Titan X-grade chokes and capacitors, and the new Xtreme Care warranty. In addition, since the new Xtreme Gaming pack is a top-tier offering, the bundle comes with a number of add-ons.

The add-ons and accessories are aimed at serious gamers, particularly fans of virtual reality content. Aside from the top-notch GPU card, the Premium Pack comes with an Xtreme set of VR Link extended 5.25-inch front panel, VR Link extended bracket, and Xtreme SLI Bridge. In addition, the bundle also comes with a wrist protector, XMP300 mouse pad, and a PCI-E Power Cable.

In terms of performance, the GTX 1080-based Xtreme Gaming card retains its top-notch specs, with additional tweaks from Gigabyte. In launching the new lineup addition, the tech maker stated, "Driven by the Pascal architecture from NVIDIA, the GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming combines with Gigabyte's gaming innovation to deliver monstrous performance ready for next-generation gaming, especially in the arena of virtual reality."

The new GTX 1080 delivers up to two clock boosts depending on the use, and both core clocks can be optimized for either OC or Gaming modes. Meanwhile, the 8-GB memory is also adequate, as well as input-output options, for top-tier virtual reality support.

The new Xtreme Gaming lineup is Gigabyte's newest addition to its GTX lineup, as the top-tier alternative to the mainstream G1 Gaming series. The expected release date is yet to be announced, as well as the price tag, although it will be a little higher than the expected $680 price of the standard GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming card.
