'General Hospital': Sam and Patrick celebrate New Year's Eve together, Jordan's new cover, Carly and Jake bond

Christmas is over and Port Charles is busy preparing for the best New Year's Eve yet. Its residents are also busy making their lives better. Some couples celebrate, while others face obstacles. Some people hide, while some people talk honestly.

Here's what is coming for the week of Dec. 29, 2014 to Jan. 2, 2015: 

Sam and Patrick 

In a report from TV Source Magazine, Sam and Patrick enjoy welcoming the new year together. The couple discusses the future of their relationship and they usher in 2015 together by celebrating New Year's Eve side by side. 

Maxie and Nathan 

Maxie and Nathan try to enjoy New Year's Eve together, too. However, some unforeseen obstacles come their way. While both of them try to spend the special night with each other, it remains to be seen if they do, or don't. 

Jordan and Shawn 

In the previous week, it was revealed that Jordan's life is at risk. So, she finds a new cover hoping that it would help preserve her life. Jordan shares her new cover with Shawn this week. 

Jake and Carly 

Jake and Carly spend time together and bond, just like they used to as old friends, reports IBT. Carly helps Jake with a new job. Could the old friends turn to lovers soon enough? Or will they stick to being just friends? 

Other Spoilers 

Elizabeth has a touching moment with someone special to her. Is he someone fans know? Lucy and Duke openly talk about their feelings for one another. Further, residents of Port Charles gather at Metro Court for New Year's Eve. 

On the Jan. 5 episode, Sam will tell Nikolas about her theory on Jake, and the Spencer Family secret will be revealed. 

"General Hospital" airs every weekday on ABC. The New Year's Day episode will be preempted.
