'General Hospital': Anna Devane makes a vow as Alexis comes to terms with Ned being elected mayor

After a thrilling week mostly concerning the mayoral elections, "General Hospital" spoilers reveal that the following episodes will deal with the aftermath of the election's result. How would Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) deal with loss? Anna (Finola Hughes) will also have to make a promise if she is to significantly move forward in her life.

A last-minute piece of news more or less decided that Ned (Wally Kurth) was to be elected as the new mayor. Alexis does not take this well. It seems that it will take more than drinking a few shots of liquor to make the pain and disappointment of loss go away.

She met with Finn (Michael Easton) at Charlie's Pub, and the two left almost at the same time. Viewers would know later that Alexis would wake up naked in someone else's bed, but whether that was Finn's bed is still under question. In any case, it seems that both people needed the comfort, judging by their behavior in that pub.

If that was Finn's bed, then it could lead to more confusion as Anna was planning to visit Finn. Anna's reasons were apparently more important as she plans to tell Finn about Cassandra once again. Granted, it is a name that may bring renewed shock to both characters.

In any case, Anna will also have to make a serious promise to someone but it was not revealed to whom. It was suggested that it will be to her daughter — a promise not to get into any more trouble.

Meanwhile, Peter (Wes Ramsey) seems to find himself in a bit of a bind. Valentin (Patrick James Stuart) already warned him about trouble that is going to come to him. What's interesting is that this "trouble" may come from none other than James Morgan.

Catch all these scenes and more as "General Hospital" airs every weekday on ABC.
