In the next episode of "Fresh Off the Boat," Louis Huang (Randall Park) gets caught in a sticky situation when he lies to his wife Jessica (Constance Wu) and says to her that he likes her newly-finished horror novel.

The synopsis for the upcoming installment titled "The Vouch" was just recently released. Apparently, Louis gets into an uncomfortable situation which comes about when he lies to Jessica saying that he liked her scary novel very much. This encourages and prompts her to have Louis give the book to Kenny Rogers's agent for him to read. It appears that the famous singer and entrepreneur Rogers will be making rounds and paying a visit to the Cattleman's Ranch. Louis does not have the heart to disappoint his wife so it remains to be seen how he is going to handle the book situation with the agent.

Meanwhile, Eddie (Hudson Yang) and his friends buy a 300-disc CD carousel to play all their favorite music. However, it appears that Eddie wants to be in control of the machine and discourages everyone else to use it. His controlling attitude does not go well with his friends, which is bound to cause some friction very soon. It remains to be seen what will happen to the group of friends and their music machine.

In the last episode, Louis invited Grandma Huang's (Lucille Soong) ESL teacher Bernard (George Takei) for Thanksgiving dinner so that they could spend time together. His grandma was fond of Bernard and even cooked the whole meal for the family and their special guest. Louis, however, was not too fond of Bernard's loud demeanor and was glad when he finally left the gathering.

"Fresh Off the Boat" season 4 episode 8 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
