'Forza Motorsport 6' Porsche DLC release date March 1?

 Amazon

In June last year, just months before "Forza Motorsport 6" came out, developer Turn 10 Studios said that the Porsche lineup will be returning to the franchise after players missed it in the previous titles "Forza Motorsport 5" and "Forza Horizon." However, the lineup was revealed to be part of an upcoming expansion, and details have been sketchy until recently.

According to a moderator post on the "Forza Motorsport" franchise forum, Amazon might have inadvertently advertised the release date for the digital release of the expansion pack.

Although the new listing already reflects the "Porsche Expansion" pack as "currently unavailable," a previous version captured by another forum member reportedly lists its release date as March 1.

IGN mentioned the upcoming expansion pack as having at least 20 Porsche models in its lineup. Aside from the current iterations already present in other "Forza Motorsport" titles, at least nine cars have been listed as "being new to the Xbox One."

The industry follower added that based on supposed leaks, two of the models to be highlighted in the "Porsche Expansion" pack are the classic 1957 356A Speedster and the 2015 #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid.

Meanwhile, some of the upcoming Porsche models may have already been showcased in previous "Forza Motorsport" titles. Ten models have already appeared in "Forza Horizon 2" last year, and these models might also be showcased in the upcoming DLC.

EuroGamer pointed out that aside from the "Porsche Expansion" pack, a new update will also reportedly come out for "Forza Motorsport 6." The new update is said to add 250 Gamerscore and at least 48 themed events. The expansion and update will also unlock an all-new track, the Virginia International Raceway. The new racetrack will be available to play in seven configurations, including night-time and wet-tracks versions.
