Floyd Mayweather Jr. will fight Argentine Marcos Maidana on Saturday night in a welterweight unification bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The main event will headline a four bout pay per view (PPV) event that will start at 9 p.m. ET and will be shown on TV on the Showtime network. The fight can also be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.
Mayweather will be putting his World Boxing Council (WBC) belt on the line for this fight, but will be hoping to maintain that title and take Maidana's World Boxing Association (WBA) belt.
Maidana won the belt in December with a points decision over former champ Adrien Broner.
The boxers will be fighting in the 147 pound category, and it should be an explosive bout with a lot on the line.
Mayweather comes into this bout with his perfect record of 45-0 still in tact. From those 45 wins, 26 have come by the way of knock out. Meanwhile, Maidana has a record of 35-3, but has a reputation of a tough and powerful fighter, having claimed 31 knock outs from his 35 wins.
Mayweather will try to outbox his opponent today. He is certainly the more skilled boxer, and has the longer reach of 72 inches compared to Maidana's 69 inches.

Prior to the main fight, there will be a 10-round bout between super middleweights J'Leon Love and Marco Antonio Periban, as well as a 10-round junior welterweight match between Broner and Carlos Molina.
The other big fight will be a 12-round welterweight fight between Amir Khan and Brooklyn native Luis Collazo, who both will be hoping for a title shot in the future if they can claim the win.
The Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana fight will be at the top of the four fight PPV bill that starts at 9 p.m. ET. The fight can be watched on Showtime, including replays.
