The seventh installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise has been given its official title. Now known simply as "Furious 7," the film is set to take viewers into another action-packed, adrenaline-pumping movie experience.

To give fans a taste of what's to come, the cast and crew have prepared the film's official trailer.  The much-awaited preview of the film is set to be released on Saturday, Nov. 1, in a special event in Los Angeles, to be broadcast on E! as well as via live stream in the film's official Facebook page.

A post in the film's social networking site reads:

The road to FURIOUS 7 starts here.

Because of our fans, our saga has grown bigger and better with every chapter. In just 7 days, we will reveal the first trailer for our next installment – FURIOUS 7 – at The Road to Furious 7: Trailer Launch Event at Universal Studios in Los Angeles!

We want to share this moment with all of our fans around the world. For those of you not able to attend in person, you'll be able to follow a live broadcast starting at noon Pacific on the Fast & Furious Facebook page and on E!. For those in the Los Angeles area, tickets will be available starting tomorrow, October 27th, on the official Fast & Furious social pages.

Fans can post their questions for the stars of the film, namely Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, and Jason Statham, on FB. They can also make a video of themselves asking their questions and post their video clips on Instagram with the hashtag #AskFurious7. The actors will answer the questions during the live trailer launch.

While "Furious 7" is another chapter in the protagonists' lives, the turn of events in the film are a repurcussion of things that happened in the past, primarily in "Fast & Furious 6."

Fans will recall that in the sixth movie, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his friends were living in different countries in some sort of retirement from crime. Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) tracked Toretto down to ask for his and his team's assistance in apprehending a criminal named Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) and, in exchange for their services, Toretto's crew would be granted full amnesty, thus would be allowed to return to the U.S.

After plenty of pedal-to-the-metal car chases, action-packed hand-to-hand combat and gun shooting action, the team eventually succeeded in taking down Shaw. The movie ended with the team back on U.S. soil, living happily ever after. Or so it seemed.

Unfortunately, Owen Shaw's sibling Ian (Jason Statham) does not take too kindly to his brother's death and is now out for revenge. And it appears (as shown in the post credit scenes of FF6) that he is the one responsible for the death of Torreto's crewmate Han.

Toretto and his team will have to face Ian Shaw in "Furious 7." With Diesel and Statham out to get each other, plus the presence of the rest of the cast, it would surely be one movie to look forward to.

"Furious 7" stars Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by Jason Statham, Kurt Russel, Ronda Rousey, Djimon Hounsou, and Tony Jaa.

"Furious 7" will roll out in theaters on April 3, 2015.
