We are finally about to reach the end of "Falling Skies" and fans are expecting the next episodes to be more enthralling and intense. Are we going to see a very dark ending or will we see the beloved characters hoping for their future?

"Falling Skies" Season 5 Episode 7 to be aired on Aug. 9 is entitled "Everybody Has Their Reasons". Its synopsis said from CarterMatt: "The 2nd Mass arrives at a safe haven – a functional military base run by Weaver's old colleague and flame, Captain Katie Marshall. As the two groups make plans for the final assault on the Espheni, the 2nd Mass begins to realize that things aren't exactly as they seem."

Would that mean that there is a traitor in the show? Or will there be characters leaving? Seriously, fans are holding on their seats for any spoilers or news about "Falling Skies" Season 5.

However, it was previously teased by Connor Jessup (Ben Mason) that: "It's a happy ending for some characters. It's not an unhappy ending of the show."

Well, at least there's something positive to look forward to.

But, Moon Bloodgood (Anne Glass-Mason) also mentioned, "There's always the threat of other humans. That's basic sci-fi."

Jessup also added, "The thrust of the show has been Tom (Noah Wyle) going from a mild-mannered history professor who always protected the civilians and battled with Weaver over military stuff to almost the reverse, where he becomes colder and harder and more aggressive and Weaver almost becomes gentler and more humanistic."

Executive Producer Olatunde Osunsanmi said in an interview that it was "kind of traumatic" killing of characters. He further added that Episode 6 will be "a big one for Tom where we see him go get to these emotional depths that we're not used to seeing him, just seeing the cracks in his armor that we're not used to seeing."

And to teased us more, Osunsanmi promised that the finale is "pretty wild".

"Falling Skies" Season 5 airs every Sundays 10pm at TNT.
