Evangelist Born With No Arms or Legs Nick Vujicic Sending Message That God Is Good to Over 600 Prisons in America

Nick Vujicic, widely known as the "limbless evangelist" for having been born with no arms and legs, is reaching out to more than 600 prisons across America to spread God's hope and love to lost souls.

"God is using Nick's story of hope and trust in Him to reach those who are incarcerated. Life Without Limbs is distributing a video talk to prisons that can then be used by chaplains and volunteers during Bible studies," an announcement reads on Vujicic's Facebook page. "Currently, we have 601 prisons participating in 21 states. Pray for the 8 states that have shown interest as we are waiting on their responses. God is so good."

Earlier this year, Vujicic already went to Telford Unit Prison in New Boston, Texas to share God's message to inmates. The limbless evangelist was able to resonate well with those behind bars because he talked to them based on their point of view.

"People can come in here and say, 'We'll just be positive' — well it's easy for you, because you get to go home, and I can't go home," he said.

But despite this disconcerting reality, Vujicic assured his audience that "there is hope beyond what you see."

"I stand before you without arms and legs, and I tell you that I am absolutely not disabled. And I want you to know that just because you are behind prison bars, doesn't mean that you can no longer find freedom," he said, adding that freedom comes in the form of Jesus Christ.

Vujicic shared the story of a prisoner he met in another jail who told him that he might be locked up right now, but his soul is free because he believes in Christ. In contrast, the prison guards who can go home to their families each day are not really free because they are living their lives without Christ, Vujicic quoted the prisoner as telling him.
