England vs South Africa takes place on Wednesday in the ICC Champions Trophy Semi Final cricket tournament. Hosts England, who managed to win Group A, will face Group B runner-up South Africa in the first of the semi-finals. All the action can be watched online through free live stream via the link provided below.

England managed to scrape through their group with a reduced overs win against New Zealand in their final group game. Their qualification from the group stages was in doubt after their loss to Sri Lanka in their second game. However, thanks to their wins over Australia and New Zealand they came through, and even snuck through as group winners.

However, things will only get harder as they have South Africa in the semi finals – a team renowned for their explosive one day players. They will be a handful but England have home advantage in this tournament and that should help them be able to challenge anyone.

The match started early in Wednesday and saw England field first. They stormed to a strong position, reducing South Africa to 80-8. However, South Africa rallied and their tail managed to pull them up to a respectable 175 before they were bowled all out.

England had a strong bowling performance from a number of their players, including Tredwell who got 3-19, Broad who managed 3-50, and Anderson with an amazingly economical 2-14.

South Africa have Miller and Kleinvedlt to thank for having a fighting chance, they scored 56 not out and 43 respectively.

England have started reasonably in reply but have lost two wickets by the 14th over. At that stage they stand at 49-2. If they can keep their wickets and bat through the 50 overs they will almost certainly win, but the South African bowlers will be vying to skittle England out before they hit the 176 to win mark to get the spot in the final.
