Elon Musk's father says his baby with his own stepdaughter was 'God's plan'

The father of billionaire Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that his baby with his own stepdaughter was all part of "God's plan."

Errol Musk, 72, who is estranged from his son Elon, reunited with 30-year-old Jana Bezuidenhout, the daughter of his second ex-wife Heide, almost two years ago following her breakup with a boyfriend. A few months later, she got pregnant and confirmed via a paternity test that Errol is the father.

The baby, now 10 months old, has been named Elliot Rush but Errol doesn't live with the mother and his new child. He does, however, provide support for the baby he describes as an "exquisite" child.

"We were lonely, lost people," Errol, who first met Bezuidenhout when she was 4 years old, told The Sunday Times. "One thing led to another—you can call it God's plan or nature's plan," he added and said that he never saw Bezuidenhout as his daughter even though he was married to her mother for 18 years.

Errol admitted that the baby with his stepdaughter angered his other children. His daughter Alexandra Musk, Elon's half-sister, told him he was "mentally ill."

Errol divorced Elon's mother when the billionaire was just 10 years old, and while Elon isn't a religious person and hasn't said he believes in God, it is clear that he disapproves of his father's romance with Bezuidenhout.

Speaking to Rolling Stones in 2017, Elon called Errol a "terrible human being." With tears in his eyes, the SpaceX honcho told the publication that as far as he knows, his dad has committed every crime possible.

"My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil," Elon said, adding that as an adult he tried to have a relationship with his father but he would not change, so he cut him off from his life. Errol responded to Elon's interview via email and stated that he loves all of his children despite being labeled as a pedophile, misogynist, and ruthless.
