Fans don't have to wait longer for surprise announcements to come out regarding major games as speculations suggest that publishers and developers have something up their sleeves for this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

With big-name publishers and developers vying for top announcement spots at the upcoming E3 2016, fans expect that some surprise details will be added to the mix, aside from the already-laid out plans of each studio.

According to Games Radar, one of the biggest crowd-drawers for the event will be Bethesda. Reportedly, although the studio has let it slip that there will be a "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" remaster on the way, fans are still expecting a surprise sequel announcement, and the studio may officially reveal "The Elder Scrolls VI." Another wildcard in the event is a supposed reveal for "The Evil Within 2."

Meanwhile, The Koalition surmises that with Sony preparing its PSVR system for release later this year, fans may expect some VR-related content for its 2016 E3 presentation. There are also talks that the rumored PS4 Neo may make an appearance. As for games, it is said that "The Last Guardian" will be showcased, as well as details on "God of War 4."

However, although there are optimistic fans waiting for the event, some naysayers are also thinking that content may get too hyped for the E3 2016. Tech Radar predicts that Square Enix will focus on "Final Fantasy XV," so fans who are waiting for "Kingdom Hearts III" will be disappointed. The observer mentions that since the studio has already confirmed that "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" will roll out in December, a "Kingdom Hearts III" announcement will not happen anytime soon. As for the "Final Fantasy XV," much of the studio's presentation is said to focus on a new Active Time Report, to prepare for the new game's Sept. 30 release.
