Developer Techland revealed that it will not stop supporting its zombie apocalypse survival title "Dying Light."

A new update has already been planned for the game, and the upcoming "Enhanced Edition" update will introduce an almost continuous level up for the characters.

In a report by GameSpot, Techland showcased the upcoming new features of the yet-to-be-released "Dying Light: Enhanced Edition" update via a series of highlight reels. One of the most noted new features of the upcoming update is the Legendary levels system.

According to the industry follower, the system allows players to continue with leveling up a skill tree even if the path has already maxed out. Legendary experience points will be given, and Legendary levels can reach as high as 250.

Aside from unlocking Legendary levels, the industry follower added that the new system will also unlock various new items like player emblems, outfits, and weapons when characters reach certain Legendary points. This is in addition to the perks that characters will enjoy once past the maxed out skill tree levels -- they can continue adding damage points, vitality, stamina, and other skills.

Games Radar added that the update seems to be a collaboration through fan feedback. Lead game designer Maciej Binkowski also seems to be thinking along the same lines.

"We listen closely to our community and hear many voices that people who did every single thing in Dying Light want more. Legendary Levels are one of the ways in which we're making the post-game content more meaty," he said.

The "Enhanced Edition" update for "Dying Light" will come for free as a base game update. Meanwhile, it will also come out as a bundle for the paid "The Following" DLC, introducing system and UI updates as well as new items and a bigger map. The updates will come out on Feb. 9.
