The Duggar family goes down under for a speaking engagement in summery Australia. But the fans' joy in seeing their idols soon turned to worry when they came in wearing winter clothes.

The famous Baptist family immediately posted an update on their Facebook once they landed in Australia. Based on this shot, looks like a lot of them flew in to join the engagement.

Coming from Arkansas, the Duggar kids were seen still sporting their winter jackets, making fans ask if they knew it was hot in the Southern Hemisphere, where weather is currently around 23 degrees Celsius.

"Wow she won't be needing that Jacket," said one commenter. Another fan gave a subtle reminder of the country's weather with her warm greeting, "Welcome to Australia.... and welcome to our HOT Summer!"

Looks like the Duggar family accepted all their suggestions very well, as they later on posted a new batch of photos, this time showing the kids in more appropriate clothing as they go around the country. "We are having a great time in Australia! Trying to take in all the sights while we are here," the post is captioned.

Back in November, the Duggars announced through their family blog that they are going to South Victoria, Australia for a public event. "Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and 14 of their children will share their thoughts on family life and homeschooling, followed by tea and fellowshipping," the announcement said.

The engagement, which was scheduled for Jan. 13 at Kilsyth South Baptist Church, kicked off a whole week of family conference.

The announcement came just a few months after Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo also visited Australia for their honeymoon. The couple recently announced that Jinger is carrying their first child.
