Reportedly, fans will get to play the upcoming "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" at the E3 2016, as the game will have a playable demo there. Meanwhile, fans in Japan will also get to have an early peek at the new title, as the game is also said to grace the Japan Expo 2016 next month.

According to Yibada, Bandai Namco has confirmed that "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" will be showcased at the upcoming Japan Expo. The trade event is scheduled from July 7 to July 10. Since the game will make an appearance at the event, fans expect that the publisher will announce major details about the game, as "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" is expected to arrive later in the year. In addition, the publisher has already confirmed that aside from a game demo, some key members of the development team, like game producer Masayuki Hirano, will be present at the event. The producer is also expected to give an interview with fans, revealing highlights of the upcoming game.

Although the release date has yet to be confirmed, observers believe that "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" will take advantage of the holiday rush and may come out by October or November. This release period takes it closer to the release date of the original "Dragonball Xenoverse" title, which was released early last year. However, unlike the previous game, the sequel is confirmed to come out only for current-gen systems, which means there will be no PS3 or Xbox 360 versions of "Dragonball Xenoverse 2."

Meanwhile, since "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is a direct sequel, fans expect that the character selections and customization options will have a wider range. Although some of the new characters from the "Dragon Ball Z" world have been added to the current title, the new ones are only in a limited capacity like NPCs and expansion content add-ons.

Prior to the Japan Expo next month, the game is also expected to appear at the 2016 E3 trade show this week, reports Saiyan Island.
