The ALCS continues tonight with Game 2 between the Detroit Tigers and the Boston Red Sox after the Tigers took the lead in the series on Saturday night. Game 1 was a tense affair with a single run splitting the teams and giving Detroit the all-important early lead in the best of seven series.

Today's game will be broadcast live on the FOX network from 8 p.m. ET, and can be watched through live streaming on MLB.tv – free for subscribers - via the link provided below.

If the Tigers can follow up their win last night with another today then they will take the series back home to Detroit with a 2-0 lead knowing that if they can just win two of their three home games in the series they will be in the World Series.

The Red Sox, however, will know how important it is to get things back on level terms today, and they cannot afford to lose two straight home games. Traveling to Detroit with things all square at 1-1 will make a world of difference to going on the road at 0-2 for three straight games (or two if they lose the first two).

The Tigers will be looking to Max Scherzer to take to the mound and get them two games up. He will be facing off against Clay Buchholz, who of course will be hoping to level things for the Red Sox and keep Detroit off the scoreboard.

Fenway Park was a tense place to be on Saturday night, but it potentially will be even more tense tonight and the thousands of fan lucky enough to have tickets to Game 2 will know what's at stake here tonight. If they lose the series may not get the chance of coming back to Fenway for Game 6. For most Red Sox fans this game is already a must-win!

Tigers vs Red Sox will start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched on Fox or on the MLB.tv network online by clicking here.
