'Dancing with the Stars' 2014: Randy Couture gets booted out, two pairs get perfect scores

In the third week of "Dancing with the Stars" season 19, fans saw the contestants dance to their favorite songs from their chosen films. But while two pairs got perfect scores this week, one pair was, of course, booted out of the series.

Mixed martial artist and UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, along with his partner Karina Smirnoff, said goodbye after the pair got voted out. They danced paso doble to "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, the theme from the movie "Rocky III," for which they received the lowest score of 26/40 from the judges.

Meanwhile, Janel Parrish and Valentin Chmerkovskiy received a perfect score for their jive routine. They chose "America" from the "West Side Story."

The judges, likewise, gave Bethany Mota and Derek Hough the top numbers for their jazz performance to the tune of "Singing in the Rain" from the movie of the same title.

Here are the other pairs and their scores, listed in descending order:

  • Tommy and Peta (34 points)
  • Alfonso and Witney (32 points)
  • Jonathan and Allison (32 points)
  • Sadie and Mark (32 points)
  • Lea and Artem (31 points)
  • Antonio and Cheryl (29 points)
  • Betsey and Tony (29 points)
  • Michael and Emma (28 points)

Currently, ABC is inviting everyone to take part in setting up the "Dancing with the Stars Switch Up" pairings, which means that celebrity contestants will be paired with another pro dancer, based on votes. Viewers can cast their Tweet Pick in the show's website: they simply need to select a celebrity name from the drop-down menu, and then choose who they want them to be paired with. The voting is open until Monday, Oct. 6, at 11:59 p.m. PT, and viewers can vote as many times as they wish. They can then watch the jumbled up pairings on the show's fifth week (Oct. 13).

"Dancing with the Stars" airs every Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
