"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller has been hoping to get released from prison early to no avail. The dance instructor was supposed to step out of the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California and be transferred to a nearby halfway house last month but her prison sentence was pushed back to April.

According to prison consultant and coach Jennifer Myers — who also coached Miller before she went to jail — the delay is not personal, but due to the stricter budgeting from the Bureau Of Prisons.

"Basically, the prisons pay for the inmates to go to halfway houses," she explained to Entertainment Tonight. "In the past, let's say each warden had a budget for eight halfway house beds per month, they were often releasing 20 women to beds instead, because they wanted to help get them out. But the director of Federal Bureau of Prisons, Mark Inch, started a crackdown on the budgets, and is making sure they don't go over budget anymore."

Miller's official out date was dated Feb. 20. The 51-year-old reality star — who pleaded guilty to fraud charges — was slated to move into a Van Nuys facility after, where she will carry out the rest of her 366-day sentence.

Radar reports she will be transferred to the halfway house on June 21 instead. The place, according to a fellow inmate who refused to be identified, is said to have a "stricter protocol" than federal prison. Miller will have to submit a detailed description of what exactly she will wear 60 days before her release. The description reportedly has to include the type of clothing, color, and size, among other details. Such procedure would also be applied to the undergarments.

Miller will then be transported by an approved person to the halfway facility. Once she arrives, the source warned it is going to be "hell." Miller will undergo a few tests, be fed with "awful" food, and sleep in a "hard" mattress.

The "Dance Moms" star was notably sentenced to prison in May 2015. On top of prison time, Miller was also ordered to pay a $40,000 fine and put on a two-year probation following her halfway house release.
