"Crocodile Dundee" is back, this time more legendary, as a trailer for the secretly produced sequel named "Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home" has been released, and it reportedly features big name AAA stars.

"Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home" is set to be the third sequel, albeit belated, to the 1986 action comedy film "Crocodile Dundee." The said trailer, however, was quite vague on what it wants its viewers to think of it, leading a lot of people to speculate whether it is, in fact, an actual sequel or simply a parody of "Crocodile Dundee." Having Danny McBride as the protagonist and main star of the movie also does not help matters since the comedian is quite famous for his satire.

Some even suggested that it may not actually be a real movie, despite having a teased Summer 2018 release.

Regardless, there seems to be a plot already, where Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee (Paul Hogan) goes missing Down Under, and the only person who can find him is his illegitimate American son Brian (McBride), who Dundee does not even know exists. The film basically sets up McBride's character as a comically arrogant know-it-all trying to live up to his father's name.

Apart from McBride, the supposed upcoming film will also include Chris Hemsworth as Dundee's guide and companion in helping him find his father. So far, only those two have been confirmed to be in the movie, along with an expected Hogan.

Whether this satire movie turns out to be real or not, the sentiment towards the original "Crocodile Dundee" movie still stands. It is considered sexist, racist, and even homophobic, and it was not exactly a revered movie in Australia, despite the highlighting Australian culture.

"Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home" is expected to arrive sometime in June. Fans who want to know more about the upcoming flick can visit the official website dedicated to the said movie.
