With developer Supercell announcing that sweeping changes will be coming with a new update for its smash hit, kingdom management and strategy gameplay "Clash of Clans," fans of the title can't help but speculate what the changes to the game will be, and how soon can they expect them.

According to Yibada, fans can look forward to an early December release date for the major update, with Dec. 7 at the earliest. This is in contradiction to earlier reports that the major "Clash of Clans" update may roll out this month. A post on the official Supercell forums from the makers of the title seems to support an early December release date.

According to the announcement, fans may look forward to a two-week preview starting Nov. 23 for the upcoming update. This means that fans will only have a glimpse of the update in action in the middle of the month, and the full version may not roll out until the first and second weeks of December. Aside from offering a sneak peek at the upcoming changes, Supercell will also initiate a conversation thread to gather feedback on what fans and hardcore players want to see on the next update.

Meanwhile, Supercell has also touched on some general changes that will be introduced in the update. While not directly confirming that the next major update to come out will include a TH11 upgrade, the developer listed some confirmed changes that will come out with the release, including what it called "an exciting 'Village Guard' concep,; multiplayer matchmaking, session timers and personal breaks and high-level trophy calculations. Also listed is a change in League bonuses, and hardcore players may expect that there will be additional leagues after the update, or at least an adjustment in the loot system.
