'Chasing Life' season 2 finale spoilers: April, Beth prepare for Rome trip

April and Beth are heading to Rome in the season finale of "Chasing Life." ABC Family

April (Italia Ricci) and Beth (Aisha Dee) are all set out to invade Rome in the upcoming season finale of ABC Family's drama series "Chasing Life."

In "La Dolce Vida," TV Guide reports that the BFFs prepare for their trip to Rome. This is also a way for April to unwind after her stressful business meetings regarding the publication of her book. Beth is with her because she also needs to forget her personal drama even just for a while. If there were two people deserving to take that vacation, it would be them.

Last episode, April met with an old college friend Ellie, who also happened to be her longtime rival. Even after all those years, it appeared that the woman was still harboring intense dislike for April, especially after knowing how the latter overcame all the odds. Ellie was a typical attention-seeker, and although she was already a famous social media personality, she still lacked confidence.

She saw April as a bonanza of materials she could use for building up her own fame. Ellie wanted to copy the experiences that April shared with her regarding the death of her husband, as if they all happened to her. Good thing that April was able to put a stop on it before things got out of hand.

As for Beth, she finally took the courage to admit to her best friend about her pregnancy. After working her whole life to establish her fashion business, Beth was worried that her condition would end up being a hurdle to her dream. Hopefully, she would also find the will to continue pursuing her plans with the new angel beside her. This trip to Rome may be exactly what she needs.

Meanwhile, also in the season finale, things will be a bit topsy-turvy for both Greer (Gracie Dzienny) and Brenna (Haley Ramm). The former will discover that she is moving back to Boston, while April's sister will feel conflicted about her feelings for Finn (Parker Mack). Will things work out for all our characters before the current installment ends?

"Chasing Life" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
