Canti Staton releases new praise album

|PIC1|The new worship album from ‘first lady of Southern Soul’, Candi Staton, is now available in the UK from Authentic Media.

I Will Sing My Praise to You features original songs written by Candi as well as unique covers of popular worship songs such as Here I Am to Worship and Our God Saves.

Candi has enjoyed a long and successful music career and was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

The American soul and gospel singer is probably best known for her 1976 hit Young Hearts Run Free and her 1991 club-style dance hit You’ve Got the Love, which sold 2 million copies.

But she has always retained a deep love for Christian music having sung in church as a child.
