In the next episode of "'Brooklyn Nine-Nine," Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews) go undercover to track down an illegal weapons dealer.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Bad Beat" was just released recently and showed Peralta in an illegal gambling club, wearing a black hoodie and shades. He, apparently, is going undercover along with Jeffords in order to track down a notorious weapons dealer named Dan "Daniel" Valdano (David Figlioli). Peralta plays poker with a group of shady characters but it seems he does not know how the game is played. It is hinted that the undercover assignment did not go very well because the two cops are summoned by Captain Ray Holt (Andre Braugher).

"You're both terrible. You don't even know the terminology," Holt tells a defiant Peralta who says a number of terms but are not all related to poker. "Hit me. Snake eyes. Go fish," the cop tells the captain. However, these terms are related to the games blackjack, craps, and "Go Fish." It seems though that Holt may be all too eager to help them because of his past addiction to poker. It remains to be seen if the captain will be an asset or a liability to the investigation. Moreover, viewers have yet to see if Peralta and Jeffords will be able to catch the criminal.

In the last episode, Peralta threw the annual Halloween heist at the precinct where the cops had to try and get the championship belt by 12 midnight. The belt changed hands a number of times through some sneaky maneuvers but in the end no one got it. Instead, Peralta proposed to Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) for her hand in marriage.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5 episode 5 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on Fox.
