"Bringing Up Bates" stars Alyssa Bates Webster and her husband John have wonderful news to share. The Christian couple revealed that they are expecting their second child — a baby girl — who is due sometime in January 2017.

"John and I are simply overwhelmed with happiness to be expecting another baby girl. We are highly anticipating our daughter's arrival. January can't come soon enough!" the couple shared in a statement to The Christian Post.

The baby, who has not yet been given a name, will meet her family on Jan. 27, 2017, the couple announced. Last year, they announced Alyssa's first pregnancy with daughter Allie Jane by appearing in her house with her wearing a t-shirt that read "Bun in the Oven."

This time around, "Bringing Up Bates" fans have to wait and see how Alyssa and John would share the exciting news to her family. But whatever they come up with, the Bates are always thrilled to have another member of the family on the way.

Alyssa and John were married in Tennessee on May 24, 2014. They later moved to Florida to be closer to John's family's air-conditioning business. They welcomed Allie Jane a year later in April 2015.

The Bates are the close family friends of the Duggar family from "19 Kids and Counting." Incidentally, Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald are also expecting their second child sometime next year.

"We are overjoyed to announce that Spurgeon has a new title in life as 'big brother'! We are so thankful that God is adding to our family. 2017 is shaping up to be a wonderful year already and we know Spurgeon will do a great job in his new role," they shared on their blog. "Having Spurgeon has been such a wonderful blessing and we cannot wait to see the face of this sweet new baby (or babies!)."
