It looks like "Blue Bloods" season 8 episode 8 titled "Pick Your Poison" is going to reveal something about Eddie Janko's (Vanessa Ray) past which will affect the police officer's judgment in her latest case.

"Blue Bloods" already showed a glimpse of Eddie's past, but it seems like something big is going to play out in the upcoming episode. According to the official synopsis, Eddie will experience a flashback when she arrests the most hated colleague she knows from college. This pal will be held on questionable charges, but her verdict will be uncertain.

Fans will get to know Eddie more in "Pick Your Poison." As a small thing about her past is going to be unveiled, viewers will now understand her more and why she can relate to people the way she does.

In other "Blue Bloods" season 8 episode 8 events, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) will be cautious to spoil a member of the force's clean record. This involves an honored U.S. military veteran who turns out to be a marijuana user.

Meanwhile, in the police procedural drama's previous episode, Det. Danny Reagan's (Donnie Wahlberg) assignment almost personally hit him as he had to protect a nurse from her former lover. Also, Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) tried to visit a case from the past that involved a man who was possibly wrongfully convicted because of psychological problems.

Danny and Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) also investigated the case of a famous basketball player's death in the seventh episode of "Blue Bloods" season 8. He was believed to have died from a drug overdose, but it was later found out that someone killed him. The suspect in the killing was a young woman who was taking her revenge after he left her behind unpleasantly.

"Blue Bloods" season 8 episode 8 titled "Pick Your Poison" will air on Friday, Nov. 17, at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
