Big Church Day Out confirmed for 2011

After a hugely successful 2010 big church day, they have just announced another date for 2011. This British event continues to take place at Wiston House in West Sussex on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2011. This time round will feature even bigger bands yes, David Crowder Band, Newsboys, Chris Tomlin, Tody Mac, Israel Houghton plus long time worship leader Matt Redman.

The main stage artist will appear on during the weekend May of 2011. Also performing on the Saturday will be a UCB (United Christian Broadcasters) stage with the top British Christian artists with Chip Kendall (thebandwithnoname), BeBe Vox, Dweeb and Mobo award winner Jahaziel. The rest announced on the tea stage will be Philippa Hanna, Stuart Pendred and the The Kings Chamber Orchestra.

Sunday will see The Gentleman, LZ7, Guvna B, Tom & Olly, Monique Lawson and Trent appeating on the UCB stage, while the Tea Tent hosts will be Graham Kendrick, Jonathan Veira, Lou Fellingham and the Kings Chamber Orchestra.

Up to 21 artists has been planned so far and more will be added to the list. It’s been posted that if they reach over 40 then it will camp for free, sounds too good to be true, if it is then let’s go and support them. So a lot of big artists will be performing then it should be a day to remember to start the new decade.
