Superstar couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé announced on April 28 that they are embarking on a 16-city tour called "On the Run."

The R&B/pop diva revealed the news on her website, posting a mysterious photo of herself and her husband wearing black ski masks. The tour will begin June 25 in Miami, and will conclude August 5 in San Francisco.

Surprisingly, the "On the Run" tour will not stop at Brooklyn's Barclays Center or Manhattan's Madison Square Garden. Tri-state area devotees will be able to see hip-hop's reigning couple in neighboring East Rutherford, New Jersey, however.

Beyoncé fan club members and Chase cardholders will have access to an exclusive April 29 pre-sale event beginning at 10 a.m. The general public can save the event on Facebook to have access to an April 30 pre-sale. These pre-sale tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. local time.

One dollar from every ticket purchased will go towards the Shawn Carter Foundation—Jay-Z's scholarship fund that grants monies to single mothers, students with 2.0 GPA's, formerly incarcerated students, and other underrepresented groups. The Foundation also conducts college tours.

"On the Run" is also in partnership with #BeyGOOD-- an initiative founded by Beyoncé that supports homeless and unemployed individuals, and children battling serious illnesses or diseases.

Multi-Grammy Award-winning artist Jay-Z is also an entrepreneur and one of the most successful men in hip-hop. He is the founder of entertainment company Roc Nation and sports agency Roc Nation Sports, owns a high-end sports bar, the 40/40 Club, and has many other business investments.

Beyoncé was recently listed, for the second time, as one of the world's most influential people by Time Magazine. She has sold over 175 million records as a solo artist and as a member of the girl group Destiny's Child, and has won 17 Grammy Awards. Beyoncé is endorsed by many of the world's top brands, and owns fragrances and a clothing line.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z were married in April 2008, and have a two-year old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
