With the launch of its newest franchise installment only weeks away, developer DICE has released another launch teaser for the upcoming "Battlefield 1" game.

The new video teases one of the upcoming single-player campaign missions for "Battlefield 1." It is already confirmed that the single-player campaign will consist of five "War Stories." The new footage hints at the mission dubbed as "Nothing is Written," where players take on the role of a Bedouin warrior fighting alongside Lawrence of Arabia.

Prior to the new trailer, DICE has also teased another "War Stories" mission, "The Runner." In addition to the two campaigns, the "War Stories" gameplay roster also includes "Friends in High Places," "Through Mud and Blood," and "Avanti Savoia."

The new single-player campaign format is a deviation from previous "Battlefield" installments. Instead of a single main character like in previous "Battlefield" installments, "Battlefield 1" allows gamers to play through the missions using different protagonists. In an announcement regarding the single player campaign, publisher EA highlighted that they made sure the game will be as close to real life as possible. EA wrote in a blog post: "In Battlefield 1 you'll experience a series of what we call War Stories: personal stories focusing on different protagonists with unique backgrounds and skills. While our characters are at war, the stories in Battlefield 1 are personal. They're about people rather than history or battles."

Meanwhile, aside from teasing the new single-player improvements for the game, the new footage also highlights some of the major changes in "Battlefield 1" in terms of gameplay. The teaser additionally reflects more of the open-sandbox world that the upcoming game promises, like "much more choice and variety than [it's] done before," as lead designer Danny Berlin stated.

"Battlefield 1" launches on Oct. 21 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, hardcore fans who are also members of EA and Origin Access can get early access on Oct. 13, and pre-orders of "Early Enlister" edition of the game gives an early Oct. 18 access.
