'Batman: Arkham Knight' Season Pass DLC details: Add-ons to include skin packs, vehicle pack

 Warner Bros. Games website

One of the many surprises that came for "Batman: Arkham Knight" Season Pass users is access to the newly-released expansion pack for the title, the "Batgirl" DLC. However, it seems that game developer Rocksteady and big-name publisher Warner Bros. would be building up on the add-on hype. This time, the surprise will come as very good news to those who are hardcore "Batman" fans and are into the classics.

According to the latest announcement, as reported by game site Polygon, the treat comes in the form of new skins for the game including the classic Batman costume from the 1989 Tim Burton film starring Michael Keaton. In addition to the classic suit, players will be able to tour Gotham City using the classic Batmobile from the same film.

The press release stated that when the DLC is released in August, Season Pass holders will be able to fight as the iconic, classic Dark Knight and "battle through the streets of Gotham City with this pack that includes the Batman skin and Batmobile from the 1989 Batman film, as well as two tracks inspired by the film's sequel."

In addition to the classic skin and vehicle pack, the expansion DLC will also unlock the Bat-family Skins Pack, which will include six character skins on the alternate timeline costumes for different Batman characters. The pack includes the Arkham Origins Batman, 1970s Batman, Iconic Grey and Black Batman; original Arkham Nightwing, 1990s Catwoman, and Robin from the "One Year Later" storyline.

Although no concrete details have been released yet on the roll out for the add-ons, the expansion packs are already confirmed as additional content for Season Pass holders when the two packs are launched this coming August. Aside from the upcoming packs, most Season Pass players are also already enjoying the newest expansion DLC for "Batman: Arkham Knight" title, "Batgirl: A Matter of Family."
