'Batman Arkham Knight' release date: New screenshots released

It looks like Rocksteady Games is getting into the nitty-gritty of the game "Batman: Arkham Knight." That's because the new screenshots released show the incredible graphics of the game, which just proves that no detail was left unattended.

The two new screenshots from "Batman: Arkham Knight" were posted on the game's official Facebook page. The first screenshot shows Batman jumping in on two thugs under heavy rain. Batman looks very serious and ready to beat the living daylights out of these thugs. If one will also notice, that's a good shot of the Batmobile, too.

In "Arkham Knight," one of the things to look forward to is the playable Batmobile. Attack of the Fanboy reports that "Batman can call it in at anytime," especially when he is patrolling Gotham City.

The other screenshot shows two of Batman's enemies, namely Two-Face and Penguin. It looks like the two villains are trying to find something or maybe, looking out if Batman is out there before they commit a crime.

The photo is captioned: "The only people left on the streets are the sort that enjoy the chaos: scum, criminals... and worse."

While the screenshots show how awesome the game is, they still don't do the game justice. Rocksteady Games has delayed the release date to June 2015 to make sure every detail is polished since they'll be launching the game in next gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One.

It is still not confirmed if the game will run on 1080p and 60fps, but for sure, "Batman: Arkham Knight" will be an epic final game for the "Arkham" video game series.

Those who pre-order the game will also receive the playable Harley Quinn add-on with four challenge maps exclusive to the freebie. It would be exciting to play as the devious female super villain as she has her own set of skills, gizmos and weapons.
