'Bates Motel' season 5 spoilers: end for Dylan? His different side seen in upcoming season

Some fans of Dylan (Max Thieriot) were worried that he won't make it in "Bates Motel" season 5. And while he is still very alive, it does not mean that he is safe.

In an interview with Geeks of Doom, Thieriot admitted that he also thought that it would be the end for him in the previous season.

He was asked if he will still be this lucky come "Bates Motel" season 5, of course he would not reveal it and just stated that "I don't know if I'm going to die."

Meanwhile, although his fate remains something fans worry about, what's sure is that Dylan will be in for a shock in "Bates Motel" season 5 when he learns that Norma (Vera Farmiga) is no more.

Geeks of Doom believes that it will be incredibly tough for Dylan to accept what happened to Vera. It remains to be seen what he will do following the tragedy.

On the other hand, despite Dylan set to deal with bad news in the new season, "Bates Motel" season 5 will incorporate a bit of Thieriot's funny side into his character.

"Every single person in our cast can do really great drama, but they're all also really funny. In fact, I think we've never actually fully seen the comic potential of Max Thieriot's character," executive producer Carlton Cuse told Yahoo TV.

"He kind of comes across often as being more sincere and earnest in our show, and yet he has, as a person, this really, really funny side. One of our goals is trying to get a little bit more of that into the show before it ends," he went on to say.

More details about "Bates Motel" season 5 will be revealed in the upcoming San Diego Comic Con on July 22. Cuse and his co-executive producer Kerry Ehrin, Farmiga, Thieriot, Freddie Highmore and Nestor Carbonell will all be there to "reveal exclusive content from the new season."
