Due to specific copyright issues, a solo movie for The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) is pretty much a no-go at this point. Fortunately for the green-skinned superhero, who has been sidelined for the last five Marvel movies, there is a particular arc for the character built into "Thor: Ragnarok," "Avengers: Infinity War," and the untitled "Avengers 4."

While promoting the third installment of the "Thor" franchise, Marvel President Kevin Feige teased that The Hulk has an exciting future ahead of him, despite not having solo films anytime soon.

"Anything is possible," he told ScreenRant about Hulk's evolution in the MCU. "I did pitch to him a potential, sort of three movie arc for the character starting with this and that is what we ended up doing."

He refused to give some specifics, only saying that it will continue the evolution of the relationship between The Hulk and his alter ego, Bruce Banner. However, he did tease a great line from Bruce.

"He [Banner] says, 'it's different this time, usually it feels like we both have a hand on the wheel, but this time he was driving and I was locked in the trunk.'"

Ruffalo said Feige asked him what he envisioned for his character should he be able to do a standalone film. He shared his ideas and was told that they could do it by using the three upcoming films. The actor, per IGN, said the story arc would start answering the burning questions about the character once the movies move along.

Fans have not seen The Incredible Hulk on the big screen since "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Such is also the case with Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Both had to sit and watch while everyone else fought in "Captain America: Civil War."

Thor and The Hulk will share the spotlight in "Ragnarok" which sees them fight their way out of a massive battle arena. Also starring Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Karl Urban as Skurge, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, the movie will open on Nov. 3, in 3D, IMAX and IMAX 3D.
