Atheist? No such thing, says 'Duck Dynasty' and 'Faith of Our Fathers' star Si Robertson

The Robertson men from "Duck Dynasty," including Si Robertson, manifest no fear in sharing their faith and beliefs.

While he was out promoting the faith-based movie "Faith of Our Fathers," Si Robertson said there is no such thing as an atheist.

"Faith of Our Fathers" tells the story of two veterans' sons, who meet each other for the first time decades after the Vietnam war. Together, they sought to learn more about their fathers by reading through the letters they wrote to each other during the war, which reveal that one soldier had shared the Gospel with the other.

"One is a skeptic. And there's a lot of skeptics," Robertson told the Christian Post. "I don't believe there's such a thing as an atheist. Because there's too much documentation. Our calendars are based on Jesus Christ."

"Whether you believe in Him or not, every time you write down the day's date you're saying He's here," he added. "Because if you get in a serious bind, the first thing you'll do is say God, please help me."

Robertson is a Vietnam war vet himself, and he hopes that audiences will be touched by the love soldiers have for their sons, as well as feel pride while honouring veterans especially since they risked their lives to protect the country.

"America sends these boys and women to war. They come back. And when we came back from Vietnam it was not a good reception. So today, we've gotten better. I've actually been in airports where a soldier walks on a plane, some people out in first class get up and say, 'Hey soldier, take my seat,'" he shared. "It's a neat thing. They've earned it. They went to war for us. So let's give them a good welcome home and the respect due them."
