"Assassin's Creed: Origins" does not want its players having an upper hand against Gods, Egyptian Mythology Gods to be precise, as the game makes fighting against God bosses much harder.

This should be noticeable in the boss fights for the "Trial of the Gods" portion of the game, in which the players are tasked by the ancient Egyptian Mythology Gods with some challenges. The said trials that will be getting a hard mode battle are the Anubis, Sobek and Sekhmet challenges, making sure that players do not simply breeze through the said formidable Egyptian deities.

Of course, the fights are not made hard for the sake of making them so, the developers have also included new rewards for the hard mode version of the said god bosses, which can range from powerful weapons and gear to menacing god costumes that can only be obtained by completing the Trial in hard mode.

The said gods can be can be challenged every week in March, in which each new week will introduce a new god with both a normal and a hard mode, the latter yielding more rewards and prestige. This makes it so that two trials will not be available each week during the duration of March for the game. For now, the Anubis gear set will serve as the reward for defeating the god bosses on hard mode.

From March 6 to 13, players will be able to challenge Anubis on normal mode and Sekhmet on hard. From March 13 to 20, it will be Sobek on normal and Anubis on hard. From March 20 to 27, it will be Sekhmet on normal and Sobek on hard. Finally, from March 27 to Apr. 3, it will be Anubis on normal and Sekhmet on hard, making Sekhmet the most frequent God boss on hard mode, while Anubis for the normal mode.

Owners of the game should also watch out for the upcoming "Curse of the Pharaohs" expansion for "Assassin's Creed: Origins," which will surely add more magical bosses and creatures in an otherwise historically accurate game. The said expansion will arrive on March 13 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC.
