Tim Duncan is in the middle of a messy divorce from his wife of 12 years, Amy Duncan.

Multiple reports are stating that infidelity has been involved and that the Spurs' power forward had hired a private investigator to find out what his wife was up to, according to Express-News.

Although it is not known what the sportsman discovered about his wife, but Amy soon filed for divorce on March 27, citing "unsupportable because of discord and conflict."

In the divorce papers filed two months ago, only the initials of the couple are named – A.S.D and T.T.D. The basketball player's middle name is Theodore.

The document cited that Duncan's employment "is currently making extraordinary demands on him and hopefully will continue to make those demands for the next 30 or so days."

The documents show that the couple tied the knot around July 21, 2001 and also mentions the initials and birthdates of their two children, Sydney and Draven.

Amy Duncan is being represented by divorce lawyer Richard Orsinger, the same lawyer who represented Tony Parker in his divorce from Eva Longoria in 2010.

Tim and Duncan met in college while he was at Wake Forest - Amy was a cheerleader. Their marriage took place in 2001 after he signed his first non-rookie contract for $32.6 million in 2000.

The pair signed a prenup before their marriage. The 37-year-old, who signed a 3-year $36 million deal last year, reportedly wants to enforce the prenup.
