Since she won the third season of the American singing competition "American Idol," Fantasia Barrino has enjoyed a very successful singing career. But this 2016, the singer wants to go on a different path and praise God in her profession.

She made this announcement on her Facebook page during New Year's Day. "Bringing in my New Year with Worship was everything to me ... When Yahweh, which is God, who sits high and looks low speaks, I listen. What I've come to realise is my Ministry is right there on that stage," she wrote.

Fantasia resolved to take God wherever she goes and to try to reach souls outside of the church this year. "2016 will be a great year, but know this, the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. So he will only turn up a lil' more but the key is YOU PRAY A LIL' MORE," she said. "What he should realise now about Fantasia Taylor, is I can't be stopped. If God is before me that's more than the whole world against me."

She started fulfilling her resolution when she performed during "The Yolanda Adams Morning Show." Before she sang, Fantasia revealed to fans where God is leading her.

"It feels good to be in the house of the Lord bringing in 2016. Many of you know I've prayed and prayed and worshipped myself through 2015, now I have to turn it up a little more for 2016," she said as the audience wildly cheered.

Fantasia constantly shows her love for God not only in her performances but also in her social media accounts. She would often post prayers and Bible verses and share her reflections on each one. Just recently, she shared a prayer that went: "Dear God, if today I lose my hope, please remind me that your plans are better than my dreams."
