The season 2 premiere of "Agent Carter" will premiere in a few weeks, and ahead of the new season's launch, the show released a new clip that features Jarvis (James D'Arcy) telling Peggy (Hayley Atwell) all about what's in store for her in Los Angeles.

"Ms. Carter, you have no idea how foreign Los Angeles will seem to a civilized person such as yourself," says Jarvis as he drives a top down convertible through the streets of 1940s LA.

Peggy is looking very much like a glamorous movie star in a pale blue blouse, which she paired with perfectly coiffed hair, dark sunglasses with red frames, and red lipstick.

"They eat avocados, with everything," Jarvis continued. "Take the palm tree—would you trust the structural integrity of such a thing?"

"I suppose not," says Peggy, as Jarvis goes on with his rant about palm trees, pointing out that they don't serve any particular purpose as they afford no shade. Jarvis then goes on to tell her all about the dry heat and how drivers in LA are utterly irresponsible, and Peggy interrupts his ranting by thanking him for his concern, but she is certain that she can drive through the streets of Los Angeles and remain unscathed.

Jarvis sighs and tells Peggy that since he moved to Los Angeles, his life has consisted of oiling floorboards, cleaning pools, and transporting exotic livestock. He finds living in the glamorous town boring and asks Peggy to allow him to drive her around.

Apart from Jarvis and Peggy, season 2 will see the return of Enver Gjokaj as Agent Sousa and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark. Fans of the show will also get to meet Jarvis' wife, who will be played by Lotte Verbeek. Peggy will also have a new love interest, a quirky yet charismatic scientist named Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin).

"Agent Carter" season 2 premieres on Jan. 19, 2016 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
