Who is Austin Forsyth? Joy-Anna Duggar, the fifth daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar from "19 Kids and Counting," recently announced her courtship with long-time friend Austin Forsyth by posting a video showing them together on the Duggar Family Blog.

She and Austin revealed that they had been friends for 15 years before they went into a courtship.

What else should Duggar fans know about her new beau?

Austin is reportedly three years older than Joy-Anna. His parents Terry and Roxanne Forsyth own Fort Rock Christian Family Camp and Retreat Center in Combs, Arkansas, according to Us Magazine. Both Austin and Joy-Anna have been featured in a staff photo on the company's website.

Their courtship was announced on the camp's Facebook page. "We are extremely happy to announce the courtship of our son, Austin!" the message read. "He and Joy have honored the Lord and will be a great testimony for his goodness and provision for a spouse! Congratulations to Austin & Joy!"

Another interesting fact about Austin is that he has a reality TV past. The Forsyths were featured on "World's Strictest Parents" Season 1 of CMT back in 2009. Just like the Duggars, the Forsyths require their kids to dress modestly and enter into a vow of celibacy before marriage. Other strict rules they had to adhere to were to wake up at 6:30 every morning to work in the family camp and not closing bedroom doors.

Lastly, Austin is already well-loved by his might-be future in-laws Jim Bob and Michelle. In a video posted on the Duggar family YouTube account, Joy-Anna's parents said they totally approve of Austin. "We're so thankful for Austin," Michelle gushed. "He is a great guy, and we're excited about the future for what God has in store for you guys."

Does the Church of England need to re-think its messaging?

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
