Microsoft has yet to announce the final list of official free game titles for April 2018, although there is speculation that there will be at least one huge AAA title leading the lineup. For one, next month's Xbox Games With Gold lineup could have Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" and the popular sports video game "Rocket League."
While most of the previous free games lineups in the Xbox Games With Gold program is comprised of small indie titles, Microsoft has started to introduce fresh and popular video games in the list lately.
According to the rumors, it is possible that the Xbox Games With Gold April 2018 free games list will get one or more AAA titles, starting with the sports game "Rocket League." Given that the game has already been offered for free in the Microsoft Store, it is possible that "Rocket League" will eventually find its way to the Games With Gold catalog as well. To recall, "Rocket League" was included in the Microsoft Store's special promotion period along with "NBA 2K17" in February 2017.
Another worthy candidate for the Xbox Games With Gold April 2018 free games list is Ubisoft's hit video game "Watch Dogs 2." First released in 2016, the game features Marcus Holloway, a skilled computer hacker who is on a mission to bring down the corrupt officials in San Francisco City who are using the ctOS surveillance system for their malicious intentions. "Watch Dogs 2" has proven to be a successful sequel following the first game, and it is likely that Microsoft will include this title in the Xbox Games With Gold lineup next month to entice more players in subscribing to the service.
As the Xbox Live Gold subscribers wait for Microsoft's official announcement, they still have time to enjoy the other free titles included in the March 2018 lineup. The Xbox One game "Trials of the Blood Dragon" will remain in the Xbox Games With Gold catalog until March 30, as well as "Quantum Conundrum" which is also playable in Xbox 360. Meanwhile, "Superhot" will have an extended stay in the Xbox Games With Gold service until April 15, Express UK reported.
