The time is almost near for the release of "War of the Planet of the Apes" which is expected next year. The said movie will be showing that war can only lead to more wars, as portrayed by what could be an epic fight between apes and humans.

The official synopsis for the upcoming movie illustrates how much violence will be seen. After suffering unimaginable losses on their side, Caesar is faced with an internal conflict, and he will eventually lead the apes to avenge the fate of his fallen comrades. He will be pitted against a ruthless colonel, thus promising the faceoff to be a feud like no other, Collider has learned.

From the way it is described, it is a likely outcome of what sounds like a massive and relentless slaughter, leading to even more bloodshed from both sides. Such is the tragedy that will be depicted in the film, and showing the futility of vengeance may have been the purpose of it all.

In a tweet from the "War for the Planet of the Apes" official account, director Matt Reeves talks about Caesar's story, saying: "It has an epic, tragic element because you know where it's going." Hit one race and the other strikes back, and one can already predict it doesn't end well for both in the long run.

Andy Serkis plays the role of Caesar, leader of the genetically-evolved apes. He is joined by Steve Zahn, Judy Greer, Karin Konoval, Terry Notary, Max Lloyd-Jones, Aleks Paunovic, and Sara Canning.

Woody Harrelson will be taking on the role of the colonel and will be leading the army of humans. Gabriel Chavarria, Chad Rook, and Amiah Miller joins him in his conquest, according to IMDb.

"War for the Planet of the Apes" is set to premiere on July 14, 2017.
