Will Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) group finally get a silver lining after being in the dark for so long?

In the previous episodes of "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Rick and his group experienced the lowest of lows after losing some of their beloved members. They also have to walk long distances to be able to reach the Alexandria safe-zone without food or water.

But in episode 11 titled "The Distance," the group may come in the form of a clean-shaven guy named Aaron (Ross Marquand), who Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Greene) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) first met when they were watching the sunrise. But is he really the "friend" that he claims he is?

According to the opening scene spoilers posted by the Spoiling Dead, Rick and the rest of the survivors are wary about Aaron's presence. After everything that they have been through, it seems like trusting others will be hard for them at the moment.

"The group, wary of this stranger, surrounds Aaron with their weapons pointed at him. Awkward Aaron offers an awkward "hi". Rick asks Maggie for Aaron's weapon. She hands over his pistol and officer Rick assertively checks it for ammo," the spoiler said.

When Rick asked Aaron his real intentions in their group, the new guy said that he belongs to the camp, and he believes that the group will be perfect to join them if they pass the "audition."

Aaron tried to convince Rick to give their camp a chance, but it seems like Rick is not convinced. "Before Aaron can explain anymore, an unamused Rick walks straight up to him and delivers an unforgiving punch right in the face, knocking him out cold," the Spoiling Dead Fans said.

Can Aaron manage to lure the group to join him and his camp while they are en route to Alexandria?

The Walking Dead Season 5 episode 11 airs Sunday, February 22.
