Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) is now hunting for a new career option instead of zombies, following the character's death in "The Walking Dead," as Riggs is now a full-fledged Disc Jockey (DJ).
DJ Eclipse, which is Riggs' stage name, has just made his debut last year and is now steadily growing in his new field in the music industry. DJ Eclipse even released his first single a month ago titled "Hold On." He doesn't exactly sing the song himself, but he was responsible for remixing the music, being a DJ.
DJ Eclipse has also gained quite a following on Soundcloud where he now has a total of two songs available for listening on the website. The second single is titled "Lunar" and also features his own style of beats and remixes.
Despite his change of career looking positive, Riggs could not help but get emotional during his exit from "The Walking Dead," saying, "It was a weird kind of goodbye in that I now get to do all these other things and have so many more opportunities. But it was also kind of bitter because I have worked with these people for so long."
It was not clear what inspired Riggs to pursue a music career, though lots of factors might have been responsible for the teen star's choices, which may or may not include Bad Lip Readings hit 2014 spliced music video of Carl singing in "The Walking Dead" titled "Carl Poppa."
It can be recalled that in the recent episode of season 8 of "The Walking Dead" that Carl met his demise after being bitten by a zombie or "walker." This was quite a big death in the series since Carl has been part of the show since the first season back in 2010 and is actually one of the original characters along with his father Rick Grimes (Abraham Lincoln) and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus).
Riggs did admit that despite his characters death, he enjoyed playing as Carl until the very last moments of the character since his death would have such a lasting impact on the story and the characters, being Rick's son and only remaining family.
