Brandon will continue living a complicated life in the next episodes of "The Fosters" season 3.

In an interview with TV Guide, actor David Lambert revealed how his character will deal with all the drama that will happen to him and the rest of the Foster-Adams family in the next installment of the family drama series.

The previous episodes gave Brandon a roller coaster of emotions. First, he was able to perform at the Disney Hall as his price for winning the Idyllwild contest when he performed his original composition. He also shared an intimate moment with Callie (Maia Mitchell), but his happiness ended abruptly when the whole family found out that Callie's adoption was made official.

To deal with the sudden changes in his life, Lambert said that Brandon will turn to music.

"He's in his senior year and he has his senior project coming up. He takes the liberty to do a musical -- an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet," the actor explained. "It's a catharsis for Brandon and over time he realizes that. There's a lot of parallels between Brandon and Callie and Romeo and Juliet. Whether he intentionally did that or not, it remains to be seen."

Brandon will choose to release all his feelings for Callie through the musical because he often gets hurt just by seeing her up close.

"It's obviously still [on his] mind and it's still kind of a fresh wound. It still definitely stands that they have to bury it all and try to move on for the greater good," Lambert claimed. "They can't cut corners here. There aren't any other alternatives or solutions. It's just this. They are really just trying to cope with that idea."

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "The Fosters" season 3 will also feature the intensifying tension between Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Lexi (Bianca A. Santos) as the junior class president election draws closer.

"The Fosters" season 3 episode 12 airs Monday, Feb. 1, on Freeform.
