Tesla's Model X is reportedly arriving this year and it will surely change how the world sees electric-powered cars.

When it comes to updates on Model X, Tesla Motors' CEO Elon Musk said that there aren't any and information about the new car model is just the same as the one given during the Tesla shareholder conference last month.

The release date for Model X has become public knowledge, but the specific numbers have not been laid out just yet.

According to a report from Learn Bonds, Elon Musk and his team have chosen a release date for Model X—the third quarter of this year, which will be somewhere between July and September 2015.

The specific date has to be confirmed, but it may not be a long wait since Tesla will be holding a conference on Friday at 11 a.m. PST (2 p.m. EST), as reported in Mashable.

The content of the announcement remains unknown but surely it must have something to do with the new Model X.

The official site did mention that shipment for the preordered Model X will begin in the early months of 2016, so it would make sense if the upcoming press conference would reveal the final dates and numbers on the production version of Model X.

As for the pricing, it is still yet to become public knowledge as well. Despite the lack of price details, the auto company has been accepting a reservation fee of $5,000 from interested buyers since the car was unveiled.

The price for Model X is expected to be in line with Model S, as reported in PluginCars.

Model S prices differ based on the version: a 60-kilowatt car costs $69,900 and an 85-kilowatt one costs $79,000.

Of course, pricing and release dates are all speculations. Interested parties just need to wait out for Tesla's word in the upcoming press conference.
