The iconic villain for the upcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" has finally been named.

Brian Tee, popular for portraying the role of The Drift King in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo" and Noboro Mori in "The Wolverine," is now tapped to play the role of The Shredder in the sequel of the 2014 blockbuster film released by Paramount Pictures. He also used to appear as a Hydra agent in one of the episodes of Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

He will take over the role left by Tohoru Masamune.

Tee will join returning cast members such as Megan Fox as TV reported April O'Neil, Will Arnett as April's loyal cameraman Vernon, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, as well as Danny Woodburn.

But Tee will not be the only newcomer in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set, as "Arrow" star Steve Amell joins the cast as the dubious masked vigilante name Casey Jones, as well as Victoria's Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, who will appear in the big screen for the first time as Vernon's current apple of the eye. Tyler Perry will also join the cast the villainous scientist named Baxter Stockman.

The Japanese-American actor with Korean descent just finished filming "Love Is a 4 Letter Word" for NBC. He will also appear in to soon-to-be released "Jurassic World" film alongside Chris Pratt, scheduled to premiere on June 12.

Other actors who portray the role of the armored nemesis of Master Splinter and the Turtles include James Saito, James Avery, and Kevin Nash.

The 2014 reboot of the long-running Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle franchise received a lot of unfavorable reviews, yet it managed to gross more than $485 million internationally. It was even hailed as the highest grossing movie of Nickelodeon Movies.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2" is slated to be released on June 3, 2016.
