'Teen Wolf' season 5 premiere spoilers: Lydia tries to escape, Aiden appears

There are almost two weeks left before MTV premieres the first episode of "Teen Wolf" season 5, but fans of the supernatural series already saw the first six minutes of the episode titled "Creatures of the Night."

The series did not waste time in setting the mood for another creepy season.

The clip starts at the Eichen House where the banshee Lydia (Holland Roden) is currently detained. At first, her guards seem to be irritated at her catatonic state, but she suddenly jolts back to life when one of the male guards tries to give her something, and she kicks everyone in sight.

While it's easy to admire Lydia's ninja skills a she tries to break free from the guards in the mental institution, the appearance of someone from the past will definitely distract the viewers.

Aiden (Max Carver) suddenly appears in front of Lydia through a vision. However, Aiden's return remains to be unclear at the moment. He tells her that she should stay put in Eichen since her "treatment" is not yet finished. But Lydia tries to reason out why she needs to get out of the institution, and makes the most disturbing revelation toward the end of the video.

"They're all going to die. My friends, they're all going to die," the most popular girl in Beacon Hills High says.

What exactly does Lydia mean by that?

Tyler Posey, the actor who portrays the role of True Alpha werewolf Scott McCall, said that "Teen Wolf" season 5 is probably the creepiest that they have ever created.

"It's going to really dark this season and really gory," Posey told E! News. "I think it's the goriest season we've ever had. It's our grossest season by far ..."

"Teen Wolf" season 5 will begin with a two-part season premiere on MTV, to air on Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30.
