The Samsung Galaxy S6 is rumored to be an iPhone 6 killer with its features.

Apple recently released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that stunned critics and tech reviewers. However, it may have a rival soon as rumors claim that Samsung will release Galaxy S6 on its usual release date in early of next year.

Previous rumors stated that the company will release the device earlier than expected due to the reports that Samsung is suffering low in sales. It is reported that it was due to the waning popularity of Samsung smartphones. Below are the top features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 that will beat the iPhone 6.

Design

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 is reported to sport a metal casing. The recently released Samsung Galaxy Alpha comes with a metal body, ditching the usual plastic casing of previous Galaxy S handsets.

Screen Display

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is speculated to come with a slightly larger screen display with 4K pixel resolution. Other reports claim that the handset will have quad HD (1440 x 2560) Super AMOLED screen resolution.

Processor

The new smartphone from Samsung will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810 processor with 64-bit architecture. The handset will be backed with Adreno 430 graphics chip to support the high res images and videos.

Operating System

The Samsung Galaxy S6 will most likely come with the upcoming Android 5.0 L. Despite the emergence of South Korean OS, Tizen, the numerous rumors about switching OS partners are probably not true. Some reports have quoted Google's VP Sundar Pichai confirming the partnership.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is rumored to include a 20-megapixel rear shooter. Just like the new Galaxy Note 4, the camera packs optical image stabilization.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy S6 features will be supported by a battery capacity that is purported to be 30 percent more efficient in performance, with longer battery life compared to that of other Galaxy S smartphones.
