The Liars look more sophisticated in the new promo image of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6.
Five years after unveiling the real identity of "A" in the midseason finale of the season, Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), and Allison (Sasha Pieterse) will reunite back in Rosewood to deal with a new threat that haunts them.
But based on a new promo poster shared Entertainment Weekly, the girls will have a different way of dealing with the new tormentor. The ladies became more mature and more prepared to face the new upcoming danger.
Before the second part of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 begins early 2016, the cast sat down with series executive producer Marlene King to talk about what fans should look forward to.
According to Benson, her character Hanna and long-time beau Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn) will push through with their plans to move together to New York. Hanna will graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology, while Caleb will continue working as an information risk analyst. But as they continued to be successful in their chosen careers, their relationships began to dwindle.
Benson also said that her constant travelling for work will put a strain on their relationship. Eventually, the relationship suffered and she got engaged to a new man.
"Things didn't quite work out with [Hanna] and Caleb, she was always gone a lot traveling and she didn't really make time for her relationship with him," Benson shared during the "Five Years Forward" special of the show. "She comes back and she's engaged. While she was in Europe she met her fiance. That was the saddest part I've ever read, that I was away from Caleb."
But Hanna and Caleb are not the only ones who break up in the second part of "Pretty Little Liars" season 2. Both Aria and Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) and Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) will be seen apart in the upcoming episodes of the series.
