Pokemon Go gamers don't need to acquire Evolutionary stones or wait for their Eevee to randomly change into one of its five types of evolution.
Unlike the previous game versions of Pokemon where a pokemon trainer needs to have a Thunder stone, Water stone, and Fire Stone to make Eevee evolve to Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon respectively, the augmented reality game version Pokemon Go allows the trainer to just change the name of their Eevee to their chosen type of pokemon.
The idea came from episode 40 of the Pokemon anime where Ash met three brothers, namely Sparky, Rainer, and Pyro who each owns a Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon respectively.
In order for a trainer to evolve his Eevee in Pokemon Go, rename the pokemon to Sparky for Jolteon, Rainer for Vaporeon, and Pyro for Flareon. The trainer can later change the name of their evolved pokemon after the evolution.
The Generation II evolution of Eevee which are Espeon, a psychic-type pokemon, and Umbreon, a dark-type pokemon, can also be cheated. Both require a higher friendship level with their trainer for them to evolve into psychic and dark. The trainer needs to walk around with Eevee to raise the friendship level. Eevee will only evolve to Espeon on daylight. In contrast, the trainer will get an Umbreon evolution if he raises his friendship level at night time.
As for the other type of evolutions of Eevee, namely Glaceon, an ice-type pokemon, Lyfeon, a leaf- type pokemon, and Sylveon, a fairy- type pokemon, gamers may want to anticipate the updates that Pokemon Go promised. The update will apparently include the chance to trade pokemons to other players, which is a feature from the past versions of Pokemon.
Trainers who would like to have eggs for baby pokemons can also anticipate the breeding centers Pokemon Go will add for the update. Gamers who played the previous versions of Pokemon can recall that breeding centers require them to leave two pokemons that are compatible for them to produce an egg.
New pokemons will also arrive that will include pokemons from other versions of the game from Silver, Gold, or Ruby. Trainers can expect future cheats for other Eevee evolutions for the next update.
